We have focused on the sales of special steel since the establishment of our company in 1924 to acquire reliability by our customers.
Based on the knowledge and experience accumulated over many years, we worked on a project of the method for bonding different metals,
"Friction Welding" in 1980, and have fortunately achieved a good reputation from the viewpoint of cost reduction and material saving.

    Shimizugitaro Shoten established at 1-3, Nihonbashi-Muromachi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Japan Sales of general special steel and machining tools started

  • June 1948

    Main Office moved to 2-32-10, Kamata-honcho, Ota-ku, Tokyo, Japan

  • April 1972

    Reorganized to corporate organization, capital of 10 million yen. Name changed to Shimizu Material Corporation

  • August 1977

    Tamagawa Warehouse newly built

  • October 1977

    Fukuroi Branch established in Fukuroi, Shizuoka

  • February 1979

    Capital increased to 20 million yen

  • January 1980

    Automatic friction welding factory built in Fukuroi, Shizuoka

    Kyushu Branch established in Tosu, Saga
